ImgFyle operates entirely as a client-side web application using modern browser technologies (including HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly).

  • No File Storage: When you convert, compress, or process images on ImgFyle, all processing occurs locally inside your web browser.
  • Zero Server Uploads: Your images, metadata, and files are never uploaded to external servers, stored in databases, or viewed by human eyes.
  • Instant Privacy: Once you close or refresh your browser tab, processed files are completely removed from your local browser memory.

2. Log Files & Analytics

ImgFyle follows standard web server procedures regarding log files. These files log visitors when they access websites. The information collected by log files includes:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
  • Browser type and version
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • Date and time stamps
  • Referring / exit pages
  • Approximate geographic region

This information is used strictly for analyzing technical trends, administering the site, tracking user navigation on the website, and gathering demographic information to ensure optimal performance. None of this information is linked to personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies and Web Beacons
